                    CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
                                                                   Writing for Fun
                                            (and sometimes profit)

The Senior Citizens Writers Workshop  Fall and Winter sessions at Fort Rouge Leisure Centre, 625 Osborne St,  meets at 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Mondays from September to December, and January to April, of non-pandemic years. Join our friendly weekly gathering of people who like to write, who present and compare their efforts, with the help and guidance of professional instructors. It is mainly for fun, but some members have won cash prizes in contests and had poems and stories published.

The Senior Citizens Writers Workshop has operated for more than 30 years. Formerly housed at Creative Retirement, the meeting place is now at Fort Rouge Leisure Centre, 625 Osborne Street. (temporarily closed 2020)

Poetry, Fiction and Non-fiction each have an instructor. They rotate weekly, beginning with Non-fiction.
